Over the years we’ve helped a number of charities throughout the UK. Read below to find out about some of the work our partner charities do and how you can also help them.

Cash for Kids £300

We recently auctioned off a signed Kevin Keegan shirt, which raised £300 for Cash for Kids. Cash for Kids is dedicated to giving disadvantaged children and young people across the UK the chance to thrive, tackling poverty, illness, and neglect, easing the challenges of additional needs, and offering a helping hand to families with nowhere else to turn.

England Walking Football

We recently donated funds to help the England Over 60s Walking Football team purchase a new kit for an international tournament. The squad advocates for mental health among people aged 55 to 70. The team competed against 16 other countries and is currently in the quarter-finals. We wish them luck in bringing home the silverware!

Mental Health Football Club Partnership

We recently sponsored a football kit for AFC Oldham, a football team established to support individuals with mental health issues. We donated £500 towards the cost of their new strip.

PACT Bereavement Support Coffee Mornings

Walking's Brilliant (WATCH) recently donated £600 to PACT, who offer bereavement support. PACT runs a monthly coffee morning, for which we will provide the funds for coffee and cakes for the attendees.

Ryhill FC fun day for 12 year-old Tom Hemmings – £500

Last year Ryhill FC under 12's player Tom Hemmings was diagnosed with an optic nerve glioma tumour and has been undergoing regular chemotherapy to treat it ever since diagnosis. Chemotherapy has an extensive list of side effects which Tom is experiencing which are not only exhausting for him but also for his family. On Saturday 8th February a family fun day was held at Ryhill FC to raise money for Tom and his family to go away on a nice holiday and take a break from it all, at a time when Tom is fit enough to do so. Alfie’s Squad – £500

GoFundMe support of a charity fundraising event which involved abseiling down the main stand at Liverpool’s Anfield stadium. Alfie's Squad is a non-profit organisation which supports children bereaved by suicide in and around Merseyside. It was set up by then-9-year-old Alfie, who lost his dad in 2017 at the age of 8. Now at the age of 14, Alfie has worked tirelessly to raise awareness about the lack of specific support for children bereaved by suicide. Chris Kirkland took part and completed the abseil as part of the fundraising team.
